It's been well over a year since my last entry.
I never thought to add anything more, partly because I've never known exactly what to say: which defeats the purpose of a blog.

Well, currently I'm sitting at home... 10pm on a Saturday night. all my friends are a party that i wasn't invited to. Not that I'm complaining of course (the host and I don't get along) but it's left me with nothing else to do apart from rant on on a website for the eyes of strangers.
I was out last night... Had an interesting experience with alcohol and people. Was interesting.
And I'm out tomorrow: another friend of mine is gigging with his band in Glasgow.

But for now...
I.
Am.
Bored.

And I've found that it is generally in boredom that people are most productive.
As for me - I write songs, drink soda water, type random events of my life, and even plan out my future life.
But that's for another entry, perhaps.

What spurred me to write this entry was the film "The Day After Tomorrow" which is airing on the tellybox as i type. Makes me think:
American film-makers are rather defeatist...

I can't rememeber the last happy hollywood movie i saw in which the plot did not involve a major disaster or the death of a high-ranking member of society.
Now, that's not to say they're bad... I just think a film about the happy events in life(that isn't as predictable as a chick flick, or as absurd as a RomCom) would be nice.

But maybe I'm just being far too picky. I should probably go to find a film with said requirements and go back to drinking my soda water.
